I’m Max,

At the intersection of images, storytelling, and brand identity I help craft-driven people and brands shape a clearer world around what they do. I work with photography, visual direction, and brand storytelling for people and brands shaped by craft, culture, place, and atmosphere.

Before building my photographic practice, I worked at government level and within the Nordic cooperation, across legal reform, official representation, strategic communication and educational projects. Working close to ministers, municipalities and public institutions shaped the way I approach people, places and responsibility.

I’m used to reading rooms, understanding complex contexts and handling trust with care. I bring that into my creative work. Not as formality, but as a quiet discipline behind the scenes. It has made me precise, observant and deeply aware that every project carries its own significance.

On a personal level I’ve always been drawn to atmosphere and places or people with character. As a true nostalgic, moments that feel fleeting and hard to hold onto is where I feel the most present. Photography gives me a way to stay with those things a little longer.

My style is observant, and emotionally driven. I’m more interested in presence than perfection. I want my work to feel honest, beautiful, and human. Weddings are full of everything I’m drawn to: atmosphere, emotion, family, ritual, chaos, humour and moments that disappear almost as soon as they happen. That is why I love them. And if you already have a photographer, please invite me as a guest!

A lot of what inspires me comes from outside photography too - writing, film, music, coffee, travel, architecture, football and the feeling of being moved by a place. I think all of that shapes the way I work, and probably the kind of images I’m able to make.

Oh, and I work fluently in English and Swedish.
